Are you thinking of joining us? Can we encourage you? If you would like a summary of the advantages of becoming a member, please use the button below to find out more about us. You are welcome to come along to our monthly meetings (see table below for dates) and see what we do. There will be committee members available to answer your questions.

There is no age restriction on membership, we are an inclusive organisation. Our only requirement is you are not in full-time work. Most of our activities take place during normal working hours.

Potters Bar u3a News

We have now planned our next u3a holiday – to see The Kynren & The History & Beauty of North East England, departing Thursday 3rd September 2026, for 4 nights and 5 days, staying half board at The Marriott Durham Royal County. We have also now planned a weekend break for April 2027, staying at Potters Resort, Hopton-on-Sea, Norfolk from Friday 23rd April 2027 – Monday 26th April 2027. See our “other events” page at https://pbu3a.org.uk/what-we-offer/other-events/ for more information, or speak to Les Chesson. Please note deposits have to be made by 30 June 2026 for us to take advantage of the price and secure the booking at the resort.

Unless stated otherwise, these meetings are open to all u3a members. Included in the list are trips run by the Cultural Heritage Group when they have been opened to all u3a members (members of the CHG have priority booking).
